My work so far...
These are some of the projects I have been working on in my career so far! feel free to chat with me about them if you have any questions or want to know more! I found my love of filmmaking when I was very young. I used to record little performances and shows on my mom's phone before I got my first camera at 10 years old. I joined video productions when I was 15 and started making short films. My passion for filmmaking has only grown since then as I find myself through art more and more each day.
What I have been up to recently...
LOTS AND LOTS OF PA GIGS
Written Down
I co-directed and edited this short film for my senior capstone project for my university. This is a female-written and directed piece that I am so deeply proud to have been a part of. We were in pre-production starting in the summer of 2021 and moved into filming with a 20+ person crew in October. We filmed every weekend to work around everyone's school schedules until November where I started post production and finished editing in March. The film is currently being color corrected and will be complete in 2023.
Home
I devised, wrote, shot, directed and edited this short film from the selected pieces we read this quarter in my Ports of Call 428 Topics class at my university. I created this for the purpose of being my creative final, but as always, I find deeper meaning within the poem I create because that seems to be the time where I truly let my subconscious flow.
Key Street
I directed, edited, shot, and concept created this music video from the song "Key Street" performed and written by Chris Adkins. I was so excited to create this film because the song stuck powerful imagery in my mind. This was a small set, only 4 people and it was truly magic. Filmed at Waypoint in Bellingham, one of my favorite places to film in Washington.
On set for the short film Tarantulas in Space. You'll see me fixing the talent's collar as the hair and makeup artist.
On the set of my directorial debut "Written Down" behind the scenes directing a scene.
Holding a light reflector on set as an AC of a short film called Modern Voyeurs coming soon.
Operating the camera behind the scenes of a Tiny Desk audition for the band Felix the Hammer.
As a freelance editor, I was given the chance to work with Stiletto Rosso Production company based in Bellingham. While editing music concerts using Devinci Resolve and Final Cut, we partnered with another production company called Pocket Concerts. This was a startup company that was focused on creating shorter, more accessible concerts showcasing the hip bands of Bellingham. I edited pocket concerts featuring bands like STENDHAL, Sidney Amos, Harbor Day, Hockey Teeth and Foxy Apollo from 2020-2021.
